I left my portable speaker on the table at this restaurant, and when I came back, it was already gone. I checked just in case someone like the waitress or a dishwasher had picked it up—but no luck. Honestly, I wasn’t even surprised… it’s New Orleans. That said, the food was actually pretty good. I do wish they used white rice instead of the grainy brown rice with the beans—that small change could’ve really elevated the dish. The service was quick too, which I appreciated, especially since the place was packed that night. Props to the staff for staying on top of it. The Carnival Pasta was also solid—just the right amount of shrimp and crawfish, and the sauce was on point. Yeah, they probably could’ve checked the cameras real quick to see who took my speaker, but I get it—they were slammed and probably exhausted. Still, to whoever walked off with my stuff… what goes around, comes around

Walked right in on a Saturday evening. Our food didn't take that long. I got chicken Alfredo and also barbecue shrimp and fried fish pasta. My chicken was spicy but I liked it. The other pasta has no barbecue taste at all.

This food was seriously heavenly. And the staff were incredible! Our server Kayla was attentive and kind, food came out fast, hot and superb. The manager came over to ask us how things were. The host was welcoming! I cannot stress to you how amazing it was!

This is one of those spots, where you don't get enough of. While in New Orleans I ate here twice . Both times food and staff were great. Mambo i will be back!! Everyone if you're in New Orleans try it. They also have a upstairs, you can sit inside or outside on balcony. You can use the elevators, I think they have stairs too.

If you are looking for a great meal in the heart of all the beauty and action of NOLA this is the spot! We came in with a group from our company. Britney did an amazing job accommodating us. Thank you Britney from Eagle Management and to everyone who made our experience amazing! The food was delicious! EVERY dish was seasoned well & beautiful. Despite our large group the service was on point and we were well taken care. As you would expect with a lager group many of us had many requests every time our server came, from more drinks to, more food and we never had to wait long. Every plate, drink and request was 100 percent correct! We were able to get the rooftop area in the evening and the view was amazing! Not to hot ( I recommend making a reservation if you can in person) ,as they are very busy! Although they were extremely busy I never noticed any frustration in the staff. Very professional! Our boss's only complaint was the service charge on the bill. This was something nobody at the table was familiar with. She wanted to leave more of a tip but the service charge discouraged her from doing so. We were a large group, ordering several drinks, oyster appetizers, and lots of specials so the service charge was a larger amount in comparison to a smaller bill. Maybe this should be taken into consideration with lager groups spending large amounts of money. Other then that, Mambo's is a MUST every time you visit NOLA

It was treat, you more than likely have to park somewhere else and walk there if your not getting dropped off. Nice crowd, a little on the hot side. We were there between 12 and 1 pm.. the staff was professional. No gravy comes with the hamburgers steak.. we met tourism from Italy ????????. The view was romantic on the rooftop. The alligator lights was crazy. There was live music but I was on the street nearby.
